mdrabble Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 I've come to add the classifications to SCCM (CB) to allow in place upgrades to 2004 etc and when I ticked Upgrades I got this message Before you enable the Upgrades classification, you must install WSUS hotfix 3095113 on all software update points in your hierarchy. If you do not install this update, the Windows 10 Servicing feature will not properly function. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/3095113 for more information. Only Windows Server 2012 and later versions running WSUS support the Upgrade classification of updates. Additionally, to service Windows 10 Version 1607 and later, you must install and configure KB3159706 using the guidance at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3159706. I'm slightly confused as server is a fresh install of Server 2019 I take it I can safely ignore this? Cheers
Steve21 Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 As long as you aren't using any downstream servers etc on old versions yep, that warning was 2012/r2 for the ESD fixes only iirc Steve 1
mdrabble Posted August 10, 2020 Author Posted August 10, 2020 Yep - no other servers in use other than 2019 version
