We have had Powerchute Network Shutdown installed on a Windows 2012 R2 Server for a few years. Just upgraded the install to the latest Powerchute Network Shutdown version and now it won't run. It runs in the browser (ie11) and all we get is "This page can't be displayed". The Powerchute favicon appears in the browser tab title so it is trying to open.

any ideas please?

If it's still using the same software as before (not used it recently), have you checked you've got the IP in IE bypass and the java control centre for security etc?

Edit - To clarify, thinking SSL security errors nowadays

I have set IE to bypass certificate errors and I have added it to the Java Control panel too. No dice!

I know it's kind of a guess stage, but you tried doing netstat -a and checking it's listening on right port? Just incase upgrade etc changed it

Guessing it's still 6547 that should be showing on netstat
