Teams Recordings and Stream

Just had a question from a member of staff asking me where records are held and how long do they exist for as he cannot find recordings he previously made within Teams.

 

I thought they were saved on Stream and should be available until deleted. - Is that correct??

 

 

Also - If I wanted to restrict who can upload to Stream - I can add staff to the Restricted Users individually - but can I use a distribution list such as Allstaff???

 

Cannot seem to find any details if this can be done and wondered if anyone has done this.
