the application im trying to build is a track player, where as you type in the artist it auto querys and narrows down the results in the list box..

i know this is quite advanced...

right. couple of views but no replys. after reading back, i realise its a bit short of infomation..

what i have is 1 input box, and 2 list boxes..

i know how i want it to work, and how i think it will work.. but i don't know the problems it may cause and the code todo it..

-Enter the artist into the imput box

-As your typing it querys the database(so if your searching for abba, and you only enter ab it querys "WHERE textbox1.text = ARTISTNAME) and textbox 1 contains "AB". so it only displays stuff that starts with AB...

-it displays the results in LISTBOX1

-the user selects the artist he wants

-it querys the database(diffrent table this time) and pulls up all the tracks that = the artistsID number

-it displays all the tracks in LISTBOX2

done :D

simple huh??? hehe:P:D
