Website Builder for Students

Curious to know what software other schools are using for students to build websites. We've got various code editors for our computing classes but need something more drag and drop style / wysiwyg for our Media Studies students.

 

We currently have Serif Web Plus but they're getting a bit fed up with that.

Wordpress, might as well learn the most popular tool in the real world.

Google sites is a doddle, wordpress as above is pretty user friendly and I think wix too

Cheers guys. For Wordpress are you hosting yourself or getting them to use wordpress.com?

It's probably worth the time to look into setting up a multi user wordpress server of some kind, then it's all internal. You can auth with ldap, the tricky part is giving everyone their own wordpress instance, but as this is what hosting companies do, I think it's quite well documented

Notepad++ for our ICT/CS Students. Photography have websites for their portfolios and they use Weebly for Education which is drag and drop, teacher managers logins for the students etc.
