Different Router for a single VLAN subnet

I am testing a new internet router and need a test VLAN to use this router but everything else to use the normal one for now.

I am assuming I need to edit my Static Route.

Currently I have 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.1.1.1

I want subnet 10.1.2.0/24 to use router 10.1.1.6/29

Would I need to edit the current default Static route?

You would need to configure policy based routing.

I have a stack of two Dlink DXS-3400-24SC switches.
