SimonInOz Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 Hi all, Does making the Windows Store only privately available, prevent access to things like downloading Linux clients for W10? Store gives me nightmares. Any help appreciated on locking this security hole down further. Cheers
Arthur Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 Enabling the Windows Subsystem for Linux requires admin rights, so as long as your users don't have those (and the feature isn't already enabled) you will be fine. Users with admin rights however could follow the non-Windows Store instructions to install a Linux distro on Windows. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/install-on-server
