Can't get into recovery mode Mac Server

Hi All

 

Hoping someone here can tell me what to do. We have an old Mac Mini Server, got fairly decent hardware although it's rarely used nowadays.

 

I have a Windows keyboard, it boots into MAC OS fine but I've tried holding down the Alt key and Windows key but it won't let me into the menu where you can pick a bootable drive.

 

I'm trying to replace macos with Ubuntu server so we can get some use out of the thing but can't for the life of me work out what I'm doing wrong.

 

Anyone got any ideas?

Should be just the alt key on the mini server.

Tried it and nothing happens just boots straight into Mac OS?

Found the issue, seemed to be my mouse removing it and using alt on keyboard did it.
