GPSVC Service Failed The Sign-in

Hi,

Has anyone ever come across this error when a user logs in?

 

As far as I am aware, it is just one particular user. I have tried logging in as other users, and they log in with no issues. I have tried logging on to various different computers as the problem user, and I am getting the same error.

 

We have Server 2012 and Windows 10 clients.

What are your initial thoughts?? Anything changed recently?? Permissions, Group Policies...

Has the user any input into what they think might have caused this? Anything unusual on their device before this issue started?

If it's just one user, I'd suspect a profile issue.

 

Event Viewer will display more information about the error usually such as a particular file/path with access denied.
