Hi,

 

We’ve been experiencing issues with Google Docs/Slides for a while... when a student inserts an image into a Google Doc, or Google Slides presentation, it shows that it’s saving the changes, but then a few minutes later shows a red banner which says ‘Saving your changes is taking longer than usual, editing is temporarily disabled’.

 

Has anyone got any ideas as to why this is happening, as far as I’m aware, it’s not happening for the staff, just the students.

It will be something on your filtering. We had this issues a few years ago, allowed some URLS on the filter and it cleared up the problem.

I am having this problem but on google docs, I haven't tried to add in any images and I tried just copying the information into another doc after I had this issue but it continued on that document too. I have coursework due on Monday and have been trying to get the documents to work. It also reloaded the page automatically after which then deleted everything I had typed.
