IT_Man_Dan Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 Morning all, Running Windows 10 machines with RM CC4 (soon to get rid of RM). Currently got a weird issue with Chrome across the network that had been working fine.. Basically when you load it it doesn't work and is coming up with 'aww snap, something went wrong'. IE and Edge are working fine. From looks of it chrome is on the latest version on the workstations I've checked. Any ideas please? Thanks
RMcGuigan Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 Morning Dan, Stupid question but have you added any new extensions lately? If not it might be a similar issue I've seen before that was fixed by disabling the "Predict network actions to improve page load performance" option, let me know if this helps. Cheers, Ryan 1
Duke5A Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 Running Symantec Endpoint AV by chance? Had this issue a little while ago. https://support.symantec.com/us/en/article.tech256047.html 1
Chuckster Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 Are you running Symantec? If so, read the following article - https://support.symantec.com/us/en/article.tech256047.html 1
IT_Man_Dan Posted January 8, 2020 Author Posted January 8, 2020 Thank you for replies guys. It was indeed effecting machines running Symantec. We've moved to Sophos now anyway so after speeding up the rollout of sophos this issue is resolving itself. Many thanks
