We are looking for an experienced and professional individual to manage our IT and AV support technicians. You will build on the excellent reputation which we already have for providing first class support to all our users across 15 schools.

 

The ideal candidate will be:

• An excellent communicator.
  
• Customer focused and determined that our users will receive excellent support at all times.
  
• An outstanding IT Technician with, ideally, demonstrable level 3 experience.
  
• Have significant experience of working in both primary and secondary school settings.
  
• A team player and, ideally, experience of team leadership.
  
• Flexible and adaptable in your approach to work.
  

 

You will be expected to co-ordinate the activities of the 7 IT and 2 AV support technicians across the Trust and work alongside the IT Infrastructure Team comprising three Systems Administrators. You will work with the Head of IT Services on projects, mainly those involving end-user devices but potentially others depending on your experience. In addition to the management aspects of the role, you will still need to “get your hands dirty” by carrying out the duties of an experienced senior IT Technician.
