timbo343 Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 Does anyone happen to have an older verison (4.6.4) that i could download please. I have installed the latest version (4.7.2) and found something is a miss with i think the version. If we were to change a staff member's email address in AD it changes the @DomAinname.uk to the top level domain rather than leaving as it should which should be sub.domainname.uk. The only way to get round this is to delete the user in GSuite which isn't ideal. I'm not sure if 4.6.4 had this trouble. The only other version i have ia 4.5.7 and this is too old for our GCDS config file. Thanks.
timbo343 Posted November 9, 2019 Author Posted November 9, 2019 Any chance you could PM me a download link for it please?
timbo343 Posted November 9, 2019 Author Posted November 9, 2019 Thanks for this. It would appear that in future the configs need to be copied and backed up when moving between versions of GCDS. Having to either restore the config or will have to re-create it again from new when using older versions of GCDS. 1
DSapseid Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 I have 4.6.4 if you need the exact version?
timbo343 Posted November 11, 2019 Author Posted November 11, 2019 Thanks @DSapseid. @willtech gave me his version which in the end didn't make a difference and i've since found 4.6.4 on our gsync server. It turned out to bve a little configuration setting. Rather than specifying the main domain in GCDS which Google recommend, i changed it to the subdomain (sub.matdomain.uk). Now changing email addresses in AD and syncing over to GSuite, the @sub.matdomain.uk remains as the sync was taking out the sub and converting the email to @Matdomain.uk.
jmorris-rhs Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 Hi guys. I am also having some issues after updating to the latest version. Please could you DM me the download links if you still have them active. Would really appreciate it.
timbo343 Posted November 21, 2019 Author Posted November 21, 2019 (edited) Here are the versions i have: 4.5.7 4.6.2 4.6.3 4.6.4 4.7.2 https://drive.google.com/open?id=1pq08SS1wiGllVAUMpKaqfFRQLSkFJfhc Just bear in mind that you will have to re-create your XMLs again as once they have been upgraded you cannot revert back to an older version.
