Synkrox Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 The biggest problem is SSL on the guest WiFi as fortigate doesn't support that (apparantly) Working fine for us on Fortigate: I use transparent proxy on school machines with certificate deployed, explicit proxy on BYOD via WPAD/PAC file and then have a "Guest" SSID with captive portal and DNS filtering using guest logins that expire after 24 hours and are given out by reception.
junz Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 That's been my policy for years. We have an unfiltered Exponential-e leased line and a Smoothwall server. It's a lot easier to fault-find, especially as our leased line service has been outstanding over the last 5 years. Who do you use for broadband?
