AJWhite1970 Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 I think the answer is no but just incase, we have two members of staff living on-site this year and they would like to attach their xBox via the residential wifi (which is behind SWGfL). AFAIK there is no proxy settings on a xBox (unlike say a PS4). Is there a way to get them connected to the outside world via wifi that doesn't involve them tethering it to their phone?? Cheers Andrew
MicrodigitUK Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 SWGfL transparent proxy. Or an additional firewall appliance to act as a transparent proxy and forward traffic to SWGfL proxy. You will still need to probably do a lot of unfaltering for various games and Xbox services. Also there might be some additional parts that need opening on the SWGfL router. A lot of work just to get to devices playing games.
