Sheridan Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 Our 10.13.6 High Server Mac running Server 5.6.1 simply won't update the Server app - it appears in the Updates list in the App Store, but when you try to Update you simply see the spinning wheel in the top left, and nothing else happens. I can seem to download and update other apps but not the server one. I've done the usual clearing of the Cache and .plist files for the app store but its not made any difference. I've even created a new user account and tried to do it under there but the result is always the spinning! Is there anywhere I can download Server 5.6.3 from apart from the app store? I don't fancy having to rebuild my mac for something so trivial
georgeescott Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 Have you tried moving Server.app to the trash and re-downloading from the App Store? The services will stop while it’s not installed but all server data should be stored in: “/Library/Server” unaffected. 1
