ICT Field Engineer – N / NW London * URGENT *

Salary - £20,000 - £27,000 dependent on experience

(Benefits include mileage, phone, 6 weeks holiday etc.)

 

This is a full-time position and a trainee field engineer also considered

Our client, a specialist ICT managed service provider, are currently looking for an experienced ICT Field Engineer to join their existing team and provide support to various primary school sites across Barnet, Hillingdon and Ealing.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting a number of primary schools on a rota and carry out hardware/software installations, basic administration, fault troubleshooting, minor repairs, health checks and maintenance of peripherals and network infrastructure. They are ideally looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong personality, who will be comfortable working on their own, but with the support of a team of technicians.

 

This position will require a full UK driving license and use of your own vehicle.

 

Essential Technical Skills:

 

· Active Directory and Group Policy

· Windows 7 / 10

· Windows Server 2012 / 2012r2 / 2016 / 2019

· Microsoft Office 2007 / 2010 / 2013 / 2016 / 2019

· Wireless Networks

· AV equipment (Interactive Whiteboards, Projectors, Speakers, etc.)

· Printers, Scanners & Photocopiers

· iPads, Windows Tablets & Chromebooks

· Previous experience providing IT support within the Education sector

 

Desirable Technical Skills:

 

· Office 365

· Google GSuite

· Apple School Manager

· Managed switches – Cisco & HP
