Cant connect office 365 email account to windows 10

Hi, i have installed windows 10 education on a teachers laptop, this is the first time i have tried this and everyone else is on windows 7 enterprise. i am having trouble connecting her email account to outlook 2016 or the windows 10 mail app. in outlook it just loads and never connects and on the mail app i get this error, i have tried googling the error code and there is no results at all for it. the email address and password are defiantly because i can sign into the online version fine. thanks in advanced.

The server error in your screenshot says Discovery Failed - do you have the required DNS record for autodiscover? Have you had outlook working before with your mail accounts?

outlook works fine on all of our windows 7 computers but this is the first time i have tried it on windows 10
