[sims] How to remove an academic year from school structure?

So more of an annoyance (that I know it is there) than dire issue, but does anyone know how to remove an academic year from sims. We have no students in a "Year 14" year, but it is still present in pastoral structure. I have tried editing pastoral structure and it does not seem to give me the option to remove the year group?

Knowing sims it will be a database patch they have to release to you

You can only do it for future academic years, once you have started an academic year you can't remove years. You'll need to create the next academic year (which you can do now) and remove it from next year's structure
