Hi,

We have some extensive group policy implemented at our school, including Google Chrome policies which lock Chrome down. In relation to the browser history, I have put a setting in to prevent the deletion of it. Does anyone know if there is a way to bypass these settings and use Chrome natively without restriction?

Cheers

Do you want a specific user or group of users exempt from the policy? In Group Policy Editor under the Delegation tab of the Chrome GPO you'll find a section where you can add users/groups and deny them read permission to the GPO. This will prevent it from apply to those users.

No, I just have a small concern that a student(s) have managed to bypass the group policy and delete their history in chrome. Not sure if this is even possible TBH.
