Convert Nutanix to Hyper-V

Hello,

 

Has anyone every had the pleasure of converting Nutanix VMs to Hyper-V please? If so what tool did you use and do you have any tips please?

Not done it (done it the other way into AHV) - but would imagine qemu-img can convert them though (it can from hyper-v to qcow/raw)

 

Might be worth a look at this - https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/virtual_pc_guy/2015/06/22/handy-tool-for-converting-kvm-vmware-images-to-hyper-v/ - is old but I think the principle is still the same.

 

You can probably do this directly on a Nutanix CVM and then pull over the resulting vhdx/vhd to wherever you need to.
