Uber22 Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 Hi i am just about to renew our licences for office we currently have office 2016 pro plus but with us being on office for our email and wanting to move to single sign on i thought we would move to 365. my question are you given a single installer. we will have part time staff on A1 licences and full time on A3 will they still able to access office one the desktops of will it prompt them saying you dont have a licences. do i need to have azure AD sign on setup first before deploying this. does Azure AD sign one need to be installed on the DC, very low on space
HPlum78 Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 Licenseing aside for now, are you syncing your users to O365? I cannot determine from what you have said.
Uber22 Posted August 10, 2019 Author Posted August 10, 2019 Not yet I manually create them in office and onsite ad, I went to setup azure AD sync but the fqdn were different 365 has the correct fqdn but onsite one isn't so I need to resolve this first
HPlum78 Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 Yeah that will need sorting and the sync server don't need to be on your DC's.
HPlum78 Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 The suffix issue is an easy fix to get the syncing kicked off as well.
