OU exclusion not working

Hi,

 

I am new to GADS (new job). I am truing to exclude an OU from syncing to Google. I added the exclusion by entering the path to the OU from AD attributes. when I run the stimulate Sync The users in the OU are syncing. Not sure why? any help will be great.

Where did you enter that path? What is the path?

 

If you want to exclude users you'll have to do it in the user account section. But that only allows exclusion by email address. Probably better to add only the OUs you want to sync users from

You can under Org Units

 

You need the full DistinguishedName for the OU - Exclude type ORGUNIT_DN and EXACT Match

Isn't that excluding the org units from syncing to create an org structure in GSuite/move users into GSuite org structure, rather than picking a place to get users from?

It excludes the OU and the users inside, which I think is what the OP wanted ? (exclusion rules)
