This raises two points, firsty if these devices were purchased through cisco premier/gold/silver partners then how on earth did 3500 counterfeit products get into the supply chain....i have no idea how easy or difficult that would be to do.

 

if these were grey market purchases, tough cheese, it's the risk you take when you look to buy cheaper than cheap.

As for the investigators security concerns, they are well founded if they can't even keep hold of a powerpoint....
