website running slow from remote machine

Been playing with the edugeek joomla site. I have it installed on a test machine. It runs fine from there but it runs slow as hell from a remote desktop, pluss most of the content is missing.

 

any ideas what I can do to solve this... Thank you

Remote desktop? As in TS? It will be,mostly due to the flash slideshow part of it.

 

Or do you mean from a remote computer using a browser? If so then you will probably find you will need to resize the images which come with the package. Or atleast you did for the first release as iirc they were un-nesseserily big
