Google sheets script editor not working in Chrome

Bit of an odd one this - but when users open the Script Editor in Chrome from Google Sheets, it opens the site script.google.com in another page, seems to create the 'Untitled project' but stops with an error 'Unable to load file - try to reload or send an error report'

 

Initially I thought it was a filtering problem, but it works fine in IE when I tested it, so it looks like a Chrome issue or setting. The problem is we don't lock down much in Chrome, apart from setting the proxy and home page, and disabling the Settings page. We do allow Javascript and Flash but I'm not sure if this is relevant.

 

Apparently it used to work but has stopped recently - its not something I use myself so I wouldn't know. Anyone got any ideas as to what Chrome setting might be triggering this?
