Witton Park Academy is a nationally renowned school for teaching and learning using IT. We are a Google Reference school, part of the EdTech50 national awards and recently nominated for School of the Year by Edufuturists. Whilst we are a forward looking school we also hold to traditional values to enable us to support our students.

 

We are looking to appoint a person who is experienced in administering Google for Education environment working with teachers to support them with teaching and learning using IT. We welcome applications from people who lack experience in this area but would be willing to learn prior to appointment. Full training would be provided including Google certification.

 

You will be directly responsible to the Headteacher of Witton Park Academy in driving forward improvements for students and teachers. You would however have significant autonomy in your role. To support you the multi academy trust, Achievement through Collaboration Trust, has an experienced Trust Network Manager who will support the Witton Park Network Manager (Google for Education Lead). This post will be based at Witton Park Academy, with occasional travel required to other sites.

 

The post is full time (37 hours per week) full year, with a flexible approach required to working hours. This is an exciting time for the both the Academy and Trust as we look to expand and implement a number of IT projects.
