Some big changes here. Here are some key points that may impact members of the forum.

The CCENT certification has been totally scrapped.

There is only 1 CCNA going forward. This includes elements of all the previous certifications such as: Routing & Switching, Cloud & Security.

CCNP Routing & Switching has been scrapped. The new CCNP Enterprise replaces this and merges CCNP R&S, Wireless and CCDP. If you already have a CCNP you will automatically convert to the new certification. - https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/training-events/training-certifications/certifications/professional/ccnp-enterprise.html#~stickynav=3

You now also don't have to be CCNA certified as a prerequisite of becoming CCNP. The new CCNP also requires 2 exams instead of the minimum 3 previously. 1 of those 2 exams is also the written exam for CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure & Wireless.

The CCIE now expires every 3 years instead of 2. After 20 years the expiry date is removed.
