Senior IT Technician – Hampshire * URGENT *

Salary - £23,500 - £25,000 dependent on experience

(Benefits include free sports centre use, onsite parking, 25 days annual leave entitlement etc.)

 

This is a full time, permanent position

Our client, a College based in the beautiful county of Hampshire, are seeking to appoint a dynamic, problem-solving, suitably qualified and experienced Senior IT Technician to provide 1^st and 2^nd line support throughout the College for all staff and students.

 

The successful candidate will work with the IT Team, to ensure all systems are running smoothly and efficiently. They are ideally looking for someone who has good organisational skills, has great attention to detail, is able to work well within a team and has a clear head working under pressure.

 

Essential Technical Skills:

 

· Administration of Active Directory

· Creating and Managing Group Policy Object’s (GPO)

· Windows 7 / 10

· Windows Server 2012 R2

· Configuration and maintenance of servers

· Administration of Office 365 / Google Apps

· Microsoft Office 2010 / 2013 Professional

· E-mail and VLE access

· PC hardware, building and maintaining PC’s

 

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:

 

· Basic understanding of SCCM

· Obtained a Level 4/5 Qualification (BTEC Diploma, HNC or Foundational Level Degree) or equivalent Microsoft Certified Professional Qualification
