TechSupp Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 Just tried to create an MSI for Digital Blue, yes I know its not the best but I'll try anything before walking round with a CD! Followed the network install instructions from the Digital Blue site but it still involves going round with a CD. Now I went through and did the discover with WinInstall etc and it created an nai file but showed an error message as below and does not seem to have created an msi file, usuall any help much appreciated. Severity:1 Message: Error processing service WudfSvc: service executable file svchost.exe not found in package. --------------------------------------------------------- Thanks
TechSupp Posted May 8, 2008 Author Posted May 8, 2008 Just been having a google, and am I right in thinking I could just add this svchost.exe to the excludes list as it should not need to package it anyway?
Guest Guest Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 svchost.exe runs your services so yeah it shoudnt be in the package anyway.
