Guest kerrymoralee9280 Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 Hey, I tried to install the Edugeek Joomla package but it wouldn't have any of it - I've installed the normal Joomla one now instead without any hitches. Thing is I like the templates on offer in the Edugeek package. Can anyone give me the link to the individual files to I can add them to my normal installation. Thanks,
rush_tech Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 The Edugeek Package should work. What error are you getting? Where are you installing it?
Guest kerrymoralee9280 Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 Oh, cool. The error I was getting was after installation - trying to log on as admin. Said I had wrong password etc. I tried 4 installs of this on 3 different machines. Then when I put the standard joomla it let me in straight away no probs.
Guest kerrymoralee9280 Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 No, I was trying to use the password I set it as at install time. Is this a school bot error?!
Guest kerrymoralee9280 Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 What's a guide? Never looked at one before. Hehe. I'll hold my hands up then - my bad, should have read the install instructions.... Just expected it to be the same as standard Joomla install.
randle Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 I tried simply copying the themes over and they did show up in the themes section of the admin console but wouldn't show when activated so am under the impression that they need to be installed via the console from an archive file!!?
