Ditto Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 I'm trying to add a word to the global library so that it is excluded. When I try to add the word as 'excluded' from monitoring, it says the word is already in the library, but presumably by default it is included. Anyone know how to achieve what I'm trying to do? Ideally I'd like to exclude the worth *only* when it is not embedded, but I can live with it being excluded entirely.
Steve21 Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 When it says it’s included it should prepop the values with what’s embedded allowing you to override it? Does it show what it’s rated at now? If so just make that a really different number (higher or lower as can’t remeber which way it went) Unless it’s something on the child lists etc Steve
Ditto Posted May 11, 2019 Author Posted May 11, 2019 The word is ACR and is categorised in Weapons and is our most popular hit. As far as I can tell it's almost always a false hit, mainly because of words like 'acrylic'. When I add a new word to the global library and type 'ACR' and tab forward, it does not pre-populate. I read in the instructions that it should as you also suggest. I can see about 20 words have been added to the global list, some exclude, some include. I can not see any other local libraries. In case it's relevant, I can see our version is 8.1.8. I'm beginning to wonder if the navigation hierarchy is relevant. What shows for a global library for the top of the tree is different to the next level down - are there global libraries for each level? No matter where I search for ACR in quick search (All fields) I can not track ACR down. I believe this product is installed in a number of schools within our MAT - is it possible there is a higher level library that I don't have access too?
