newpersn Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Hi all, I got a slight issue where Outlook (or Exchange 2016) is wrongly identifying emails as junk and being moved the to the junk emails. These are emails that have been coming though before but now being "junked" Is there any setting within EAC or outlook we can apply to stop this from happening? Thanks
sted Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 if you know and trust the domains they are coming from you can create a mail flow rule in the exchange admin centre that sets their spam level (scl iirc) as 0 at least in office 365
Cache Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 This might not apply, but it helped resolve a similar issue for us with Office 365. You might want to try and track down which part is moving it to the Junk Mail folder, I'd do this by having a look at message trace for a couple of messages and seeing whether the trace flags it as junk or not. If not, it's probably Outlook doing it. For this reason, we disable the Junk Mail filter within Outlook and rely on Office 365 to do the work.
