Senior ICT Technician – NE London * URGENT *

Salary – up to £28,000 dependent on experience

Our client, a secondary school in NE London, are currently looking for an experienced Senior IT Technician, who will have both the ICT experience and qualifications suitable to join a team delivering ICT support to the school. This role will involve assisting the support and day to day management of the school’s network, infrastructure, equipment and software.

 

This role would benefit someone who is looking to progress in the IT industry and is willing to learn and be exposed to new, up to date technologies. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Network Administrator and will deputise in his absence, assisting in carrying out the responsibilities of the post.

 

 

Essential Technical Skills:

 

· Knowledge of Microsoft Server 2012 & 2016

· Excellent Knowledge of Windows 7 & 10

· Knowledge of Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM)

· Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and Networking

 

Desired Skills:

 

· A Microsoft, CompTIA or Cisco Certification

· Office 365 management

· Experience of working in an Education setting
