Heads up for an issue with the latest round of MS updates on devices with Sophos endpoint installed

To summarise, don't install the updates if you have Sophos endpoint, or if you have, remove before rebooting.

Unless you have Windows 10 and Sever 2016 or 2019, which appear to be unaffected.

Our bursar was caught out with this and phoned me in panic as her PC was stuck at windows recovery. Let's hope there's an easy fix.

Be interesting to see which party ends up with the blame for this debacle... is it Sophos at fault or Microsoft I wonder. I guess no surprise given the 2019-04 update includes Spectre / Meltdown fixes, which trashed machines with Sophos AV first time around.
