Win10 1809 Upgrade WSUS

I have approved to install (on a few test computers) the 'feature update to 1809' WSUS 2016 server update. This update has a status in WSUS of 'downloading' and has been like this for a week or more.

 

WSUS syncs everyday.

 

On the WSUS homepage the server has:

• Updates needing files - 257
  
• Downloaded - 17000 of 342000MB
  

 

 

which doesn't ever seem to change..

 

Any ideas?

Reboot and retry? Personally I'd be reluctant to let it download all that. If you go through the updates being downloaded you'll probably find a lot aren't needed and quite a few are superseded
