Apologies if this has been posted before. I'm looking into whether a piece of software - basically an exe with some associated files that runs from a network share without having to be installed - can be made to work on a Chromebook. Obviously the preferred solution would be to replace it with something web-based, and I'm thinking the answer is it can't be done without spending lots of money, but I'd like to rule it out.

 

I'm thinking some kind of RDS setup, possibly hosted in Azure. I wouldn't expect the performance would be all that great with 30+ kids using it simultaneously.

 

Anyone else been asked the same thing?
