IT Services Manager – East London * URGENT *

Salary – up to £34,300 dependent on experience

Our client, a secondary school in East London, are currently looking for an experienced 2^nd / 3^rd line Engineer/ ICT Services Manager to ensure all ICT services fully meet the school’s requirements.

 

This is a stand-alone role, providing 1^st / 2^nd & 3^rd line support to all staff and students.

 

 

Essential Skills:

 

· Windows 8 & 10

· Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016 & 2019 & Exchange Server 2007/2010

· VMware virtualization

· Experience of using Hyper-V High availability Cluster, DNS & DHCP

· Understanding of SaaS and LaaS technologies

· Experience of Switching and Routing

· VPN, VLANS and Tunneling

· Strong enterprise storage experience

· Deep understanding of WIFI networks

· Active Directory and Group Policy

· Previous experience providing IT support in a networked environment within a school

 

Desirable Technical Skills:

 

· Palo-Alto Firewalls

· Juniper Switches

· MAC OSX

· Ruckus/Meru WIFI

· HP, Dell servers and Storage

· PCoiP protocol

· PowerShell

· Microsoft Office 365

· VOIP
