Office 2019 Vs 365 ProPlus

Hi All,

 

It's that time of year when we all get excited about new versions of office.

 

So far I have put off updating to 2019 or ProPlus 365 (Desktop) due to our ECDL exams coming up, but MS insists 2019 uses the same GPO settings and ECDL will *probably* work still with 2019.

 

But this also raises an interesting question of Office ProPlus - Which they believe will be better than 2019 and updated more seemlessly (My experience with 365 is just the limited web apps)

 

As a windows school I'm keen to try 2019 (bar ECDL) but am tempted to investigate ProPlus - Does anyone have experience of it? How do you deploy and licence it on workstations?

 

Am I better with the devil I know?
