petben Posted February 8, 2019 Posted February 8, 2019 I want to backup the file server VM and have restore points for daily up to 30 days, and monthly up to 12 months. The only way I can see to do this is to have 2 separate jobs Job 1 - Files - Daily - 00:00am - 30 copies to keep Job 2 - Files - Monthly on first Sunday of each month - 00:00am - 12 copies to keep This is OK but as Veeam doesn't support deduplication across jobs then I am keeping 2 copies of the same (huge) backup job in the repository? what is the recommended method for this?
