The role:

We are seeking a talented ITS School Technical Specialist to join our ITS team at GDST. The role will be responsible for bringing technical specialist expertise to the GDST across a broad range of technologies. The role will act as 3rd line technical support for a select group of schools, primarily liaising with Network Managers and Digital Education Schools Partner(s) to understand and resolve issues in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring the GDST ITS systems and consulting on any solutions relating to particular specialisms.

We seek someone with experience working as part of a technical team providing direct support to end users and who is able to present technical information to a technical and non-technical audience. You will have proven experience of delivering customer focused ITS service and, a strong technical understanding of ITS systems.
