Restore DC from backup

I had to restore our main DC from backup because our DAS died i started it up but it seems the workstation lost trust releasonship with the DC is this due to the local password of the DC also couple of days before I reset the admin password and I could only use the older one to login to the restored DC

Is the DC now in a healthy state, or are you suggesting something is wrong with the DC - apart from an old admin password?

 

It's common for a workstation to lose the trust relationship with a DC that has been restored from an old backup, but it should be relatively simple to fix.

Disjoin/Rejoin the domain from the workstation - this creates a new computer (service account) password.

 

How many workstations are affected?
