A teacher noted to me last week that he wasn't able to print a pdf as a booklet when loaded up on chrome like he could in internet explorer. Whilst he could save the pdf and load in reader, he doesn't see why this should be necessary if ie offered the facility (and fair enough). It seems chrome's print dialog bar seems somewhat more limited than ie's. Does chrome have a setting that can be changed (preferably via gp) so offer greater options or indeed replace with something more in tune with ie or is there an addon/plugin to provide this?

Bottom option in Chrome's print menu is "print using system dialog", gives you full printer preferences.

Already tried that but it was only the standard windows print dialog which didn't offer the same interface as internet explorer

Same interface here, are you talking specifically about PDF's? As that would use Adobe's interface in IE.

No-one else encountered this with chrome? I still can't see a way to change the print dialog or at least make it offer more options!

Pretty sure I have. If I recall, as suggested, using System Printer sometimes helped. Other option is to download, load in to Adobe Reader then print from there.

Yes, as per title it's specific to pdfs, not general printing. Is there not a plugin or equiv interface for chrome then?

Adobe has a plugin for chrome, but I don't think it does more than add a button to load the pdf in reader instead of in the browser.
