Not so much a bug as an irritation - for the last few days, when I click on New Posts - I get the new stuff - but also get 100's & 100's of posts that are

 

The threads below have not been updated since your last visit but still contain unread posts

 

Is there any way I can switch this off?

I have added below that phrase a link to "mark all as read" which should make life a little more simple.
