NetSupport DNA - Frequency of Inventory

By default NetSupport DNA performs a Software and a Hardware Inventory every 10 minutes. This seems a bit too frequent to me, but as it is the default setting it must be OK, right?

 

Have you got DNA, if so have you changed this to another figure?

Although the default is to scan every 10 minutes no data will be sent back to the server if the hardware/software hasn't changed. As the hardware is normally pretty static it's fine to increase the Hardware Inventory scan interval, we find that somewhere between 240 minutes (4 hours) to 480 minutes (8 hours) works well.
