This is an urgent requirement – to start as soon as possible.

Our client, an independent school in West London, have an urgent requirement for a Web Development Manager to join their IT Team, as the school expands their use of digital technologies.

 

As the Web Development Manager, you will provide essential support to the team, the school and its systems.

 

Your primary duties will include:

 

· Developing sites within a CMS and updating content.

· Developing the school’s intranet and VLE (via FireFly).

· Working closely with the Marketing and Communications Departments.

· Working with key stakeholders and teachers across the school.

· Backups and archiving of all digital content.

· Ensuring all current and planned web-based technologies remain fully operational.

· Project Manage new web platforms and services.

 

 

To be considered for this role, you must have solid experience of developing websites with HTML with a CMS.

 

Desirable skills include:

 

· Ability to develop and manage new projects throughout the school.

· ASP & ASP.net.

· Basic knowledge of C/C#/Visual Basic, SQL.

· Basic knowledge Active Directory, Exchange, Windows Server and client software.

· IIS & Web Server technologies.

· HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX and general scripting.

· Previously managed a content management system (i.e. Firefly).

· Understanding of Film and Media software/hardware.

· Understanding of Multimedia Copyright and Licensing.

· Flexible working approach and willing to work outside of core hours if required.
