it sounds like a nice idea but i see 2 problems.

 

1 google, facebook et all (and lets be honest it would take a monumental shift in user traffic to dethrone them) arnt going to want this they need as much data on you as they can get regardless of privacy

 

2 that just means if someone is targeting you specifically all your info is in 1 place to be got at. While you could put this on say a nas at home (if i read it correctly) people wont they will house it on some free service that means back to having everyones info in the same place and a few big tempting targets
