SeanAllen Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 (edited) Is it possible to have two passwords for the same windows 8.1 login, failing that can the pin number be changed from 4 to 8 digits? Edited September 28, 2018 by robk
elsiegee40 Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 Do you mean two factor authentication? Does this help? https://www.dell.com/community/Windows-8/Windows-8-1-Two-Step-Verification/td-p/4228154
bald_pig Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 I'm guessing you want two people to be able to access the same account with different passwords? If so, it's a terrible idea that defeats the purpose of user accounts, and can't be done.
SeanAllen Posted September 28, 2018 Author Posted September 28, 2018 Just to clarify, its the same person logging in to the same account. I'd like to use an id badge to enter an 8 digit number when on site.

SeanAllen Posted September 28, 2018 Author Posted September 28, 2018 I can on my PC as I have a card reader that will enter the 8 digit number as text.
