Recommend an interactive panel for Mac

Looking to replace our aging smart boards- currently got pricing for sharp 70inch panels but wanted to see what everyone else is using?

 

Dont want to go with smart or promethean.

I keep banging the drum about the Genee Screens that we've had installed here, but they are absolutely fab.

They are definitely compatible with Macs. I know this because our head uses a MacBook and it was one of the criteria that all the new interactive screens that we demo'd had to satisfy. We set out with a list of requirements and had demos of a ton of screens. They had to be robust, easy for the staff to use, have a decent warranty period and be compatible with multiple operating systems (the head's requirement, not mine). Of all the screens that we reviewed, the Genee models ticked all of the boxes, and the staff absolutely love them.

We replaced some older Promethean Activboards with them over the summer and the staff are already raving about how much easier they are to use than the Promethean Boards, and they love how crystal clear the images are in 4K.

We used one of our regular suppliers to source them and they were super helpful in arranging demos and didn't try to pressure us in any way towards any particular brand. I can put you in touch with them if you would like somebody completely impartial, who will just get on with getting demos set up for you and will really try to squeeze the vendors on pricing on your behalf.

WE have Genee and are Mac based. I'm happy with the boards although its worth knowing that the software is not developed as quickly for the Mac as a PC. Our MacBooks complained about the 32bit drivers when we installed High Sierra over the summer.

We used Very PC as usual no issues there at all!

 

They do have their own sister company that obviously will sell their products - Interactive Education
