File Server

Hi Everyone,

 

 

I would like a take on your advice with regards to the following:

 

 

I have installed server 2012 on a Hp proliant micro server. I want to create a file share on my home network. The server will host the files and I will map the share on other laptops and computers on my home network.

 

I will create a server back up using the backup utility that comes with server 2012. The back up will run via my home lan to a Nas plugged via RJ45.

 

 

Please anyone done this before? Your advice will be deeply appreciated.
